BELONG BY ATELIER de Hoteles

The "BELONG" program does not apply to any reservation made through an OTA (Online Travel Agency) such as Expedia, Booking.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Hoteltonight, Bestday.com, Trip.com, Agoda, Amoma, Despegar, Hotelbeds, Price Travel, World 2 Meet or any other similar platform. This includes any agent registered as an affiliate or somehow purchasing and reselling, or selling as third-party on behalf of other customers, through these website platforms and their extended B2B2C distribution networks.

The "BELONG" program is valid exclusively for certified Travel Advisors with a valid IATA, CLIA, TRUE, CADASTUR key or with an official ID that accredits him/her as a Travel Advisor.

The "BELONG" program only applies to Travel Advisors located in the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina and Colombia. BELONG CASH INCENTIVE redemption does not apply to Argentina and Colombia. For Mexico, agents must issue an invoice.

Travel Advisors must register with their real data to obtain the benefits and tools of the program. Only one change of email address is allowed, if an additional change is made, the information will be deleted.

The program only applies to the following hotels: ATELIER Playa Mujeres and ÓLEO Cancún Playa.

GENERAL RULES OF THE BELONG PROGRAM.

• Travel Advisors must comply with the tax regulations applicable to their country of residence when reporting income earned in the BELONG program.
• Travel Advisors are required to register a valid physical address of their place of residence or work.
• The program applies to all individual and direct bookings that travel consultants make for their clients, including bookings made through a tour operator with whom ATELIER de Hoteles has a contract.
• Bookings made using a discount code (Tourist Industry, Friends and Family or Travel Advisors) are not counted in the program.
• In the BELONG program, up to a maximum of 10 rooms per night can be booked on the same travel date. After this amount, no incentives will be applied as it will be considered as a group.
• In groups of 11 or more rooms traveling on similar dates or overlapping a minimum of two nights, no BELONG program incentive will be awarded.
• BELONG program rewards only apply to actual bookings, i.e. actual bookings that have been registered in the travel consultant's account and have been paid in full.
• In case of cancellation or refund of reservations, the corresponding compensations will not be applied.
• Reservations may be registered from the date of creation of the reservation and at the latest on the day of check-out.
• ATELIER de Hoteles reserves the right to deny access to the BELONG program to any user who commits fraud or abuse of trust.

BELONG CASH INCENTIVE PAYMENT ATELIER PLAYA MUJERES

• Cash incentive is understood to be the amount of money in Dollars, legal tender in the United States of America, to which the participating travel agent is entitled as a commission for the actual reservations made and paid by their clients through the agent and which, by virtue of the BELONG program, ATELIER de Hoteles will pay in accordance with the terms established in this document.
• An incentive of $50 USD will be awarded for each actual stay of 7 nights in regular room categories and an incentive of $70 USD will be awarded for each actual stay of 6 nights in INSPIRA categories.
• Incentives will be paid between 30 and 60 days from the check-out date of the reservation.
• Reservations may be registered from the date the reservation is created and no later than the day of check-out.
• Incentive payments will be made in U.S. dollars (USD); the exchange rate in effect on the day of payment will be applied to incentives in markets outside the U.S. and Canada*.        
• ATELIER de Hoteles reserves the right to deny access to any user of the program in case of fraud or breach of trust.        
• It is important to note that the method of payment will be different according to the geographic origin of the travel agent: via check in the case of USA and Canada.
• To request payment of the BELONG CASH INCENTIVE, 5 bookings must be made within a period of 12 months from the date of check-out.

REDEMPTION OF BELONG ATELIER PLAYA MUJERES STAYS

• Free nights granted to travel agents are valid for redemption only for one year from the date of check-out(1).
• For each effective reservation entered in BELONG with a minimum stay of 6 nights in INSPIRA categories and 7 nights in regular categories, the agent is entitled to one free night in the hotel booked by the client. 
• Redeemed stays are in double occupancy (2 adults) in all inclusive plan in a Junior Suite room category. Triple occupancy and/or pet stay will incur an additional charge.
• The Travel Agent may upgrade subject to availability prior to or upon arrival if desired, for an additional charge.
• Free nights are not transferable between properties (ATELIER Playa Mujeres and ÓLEO Cancún Playa), free nights will be confirmed at the property booked by the agent.
• The Travel Agent must present an official identification that accredits him/her as such and owner of the BELONG account at the time of check-in.
• Free nights are not transferable and have no commercial resale value, their validity is not extendable.
• Travel agents must take a site inspection visit during your stay at the property where you redeemed your nights.
• The redemption of nights must be done through the travel agent's BELONG platform, you can book from a minimum of 2 nights and up to a maximum of 5 nights per month. Additional nights can be booked with a Travel Agent Rate discount code.
• Night redemptions are subject to availability and do not apply on: Easter, Christmas, New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day nor days considered holidays or when the hotel has an occupancy above 80%.
• ATELIER de Hoteles reserves the right to deny access to any program user in case of fraud or breach of trust.
• Cancellation policies: In case of cancellation of stays with free nights, the travel agent may do so up to 15 days prior to the arrival date without penalty, whereby the nights will be restored to the account. Cancellations after this period are subject to penalty causing a forfeiture of the free nights redeemed for the stay.

* RESTRICTIONS

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

• It is hereby established that ATELIER de Hoteles shall not be liable for the cancellation or suspension of services in the BELONG program due to acts of God or force majeure.
• Such events shall be deemed to be unforeseeable, unavoidable or beyond the control of the parties, such as acts of God, extreme weather conditions, war, rebellion, sabotage, riot, strike, hurricanes, earthquakes, meteorological circumstances, acts of governmental authority, terrorism or any other event beyond the control of the parties. In addition, epidemics, pandemics, declarations of sanitary emergency or any other declaration by the authorities may also be grounds for invoking this clause.
• The aforementioned causes may be invoked as long as the reason for them is in force at least one month prior to the date of arrival and their effects extend up to the time of the event, preventing its realization or attendance. In the event that there is an express prohibition that prevents 80% of the attendees to move to the "Hotel", or the "Hotel" to fulfill its obligations on the scheduled dates due to such reasons, the "Hotel" will reimburse the payments made by "The Client" within 30 calendar days from the notification to the "Hotel". A 5% administrative fee will be deducted for the administrative costs of the work and work carried out by the "Hotel", but this will not be considered a penalty.
• It is important to note that events related to economic and financial crises, stock market crashes, bankruptcies, devaluations or other events related to the economy of Mexico and other countries in the world, or of an economic nature will not be considered fortuitous events or force majeure.
• If the effects of the fortuitous event or force majeure are temporary, "The Client" may suspend the event for the duration of the fortuitous event or force majeure without penalty, as long as it notifies "The Hotel" in writing of the causes invoked. The "Hotel" must present alternative dates available for its realization in the same destination of our Hotel or, failing that, offer any option of the properties in the ATELIER de Hoteles portfolio in the Mexican Republic, subject to review of availability, space capacity and prices. Payments made will be considered in full for the new date. "The Client must consider the options presented and try in good faith to arrange a new date. If the new dates are not viable for "The Client", he/she may cancel without penalty and the "Hotel" will reimburse the payments made by "The Client" within 30 calendar days from the written notification to the "Hotel". A 5% administrative fee will be deducted for the work done by the "Hotel", but this will not be considered a penalty.
